Who is the free audit for, and do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

The audit is for a U.S.-based business and its facility manager or energy team. No customer account is required. You provide your business name, contact name, business email, phone number, U.S. state, ZIP code, and a smart-meter CSV for the site.

What smart-meter CSV format does the audit accept?

Accepted Answer

The current upload accepts a UTF-8 CSV file up to 10 MB. It must include a timestamp or date column and a kWh, energy, usage, or consumption column. The upload also needs at least one usable reading and rows with matching columns.

Question 3

Why might my CSV be rejected?

Accepted Answer

A file can be rejected when it is oversized, not valid UTF-8, malformed, empty, missing the required columns or readings, or contains rows with invalid dates, non-numeric values, negative kWh, mismatched columns, or other unreadable data.

What happens after a successful submission?

Accepted Answer

The parsed submission is saved and GridFlex gives you a private result link that you can revisit. The current result also offers a PDF download. A link that is invalid or no longer available returns no result; it does not expose an audit.

Question 5

What does the initial estimate include?

Accepted Answer

The estimate is derived only from the readings in your uploaded file. It reports the parsed reading count, uploaded total in kWh, average daily usage, peak interval, and a 365-day annualized kWh estimate.

What are the limits of the estimate?

This is an initial estimate from the uploaded readings, not utility-bill verification, a vendor assessment, or a credential-dependent forecast. The 365-day figure is an annualization of the file’s calculated average daily usage.

Question 7

Does this flow connect to vendors, utilities, or billing systems?

Accepted Answer

No. Live vendor, utility or grid-data, smart-meter-provider, and billing integrations are not active in this flow. The audit does not retrieve live data, verify billing, or perform credential-based analysis.
