EV fleets / U.S. commercial facilities

A clear record for every charger. A history of saved reports.

For U.S. businesses managing commercial EV chargers, GridFlex lets facility managers review customer-entered charger records alongside saved OCPP status history. Together, they support a facility-level view of fleet charging context.

Charger registration

Start with the charger details your team already knows.

A facility manager with a signed-in GridFlex account and an active subscription can register a charger by entering its name and OCPP charge point ID. Location, capacity details, manufacturer, and model are optional customer-entered fields. Saving creates an inventory record; it does not connect the charger.

Inventory for facility-level review

Keep the charger’s name, OCPP identifier, and any optional site details together in the account record. The record helps teams review fleet charging context alongside saved reports; it is not a connection credential or a live device feed.

Saved OCPP status history

Review what was reported, and when it was observed.

For each registered charger, facility managers can review its latest saved OCPP status report, observation time, and available connector or EVSE identifiers. A timeline shows historical events and can be filtered by date and reported status.

A report may be absent or older than 24 hours. These are saved observations, not a readout of the charger’s current condition.

The operating context

Charging schedules meet real facility constraints.

Fleet charging does not happen in isolation. Facility managers are balancing routes, departure times, available capacity, site priorities, and the load already moving through the building.

Route readiness

Which vehicles need to be ready, and by what departure window?

Charging windows

How might charging overlap with the facility’s existing load profile?

Site priorities

What matters most at this location: uptime, cost, capacity, or a mix?

A practical first pass

Use the data you have to decide what to investigate next.

The account-free smart-meter CSV audit and scenario calculator are separate planning tools. They can help a facility team review its own energy context and assumptions.

01

Bring the data you have

Start account-free with a supported smart-meter file from the facility. No live connection is required for the first look.

02

Review a private initial estimate

The free commercial energy audit uses the submitted readings to help you explore where the site may deserve more attention.

03

Pressure-test assumptions

Use the ROI calculator to change the EV-fleet inputs and compare illustrative scenarios before a deeper conversation.

Free commercial energy audit

Start with a smart-meter file, not a new integration.

Submit a supported smart-meter CSV without creating an account. Your initial estimate is private to the request and is intended to help frame the next question.

Illustrative scenario planning

Change the assumptions. See how the story moves.

The existing ROI calculator lets a facility manager test EV-fleet-related inputs and compare illustrative scenarios. Its output is not a savings forecast or guarantee.

How to read these records

A saved observation is a point in history.

Charger registration stores the details entered by the facility manager and does not establish live connectivity, telemetry, or automated charger control. Status history reflects saved OCPP reports; any potential value in the scenario calculator is illustrative, never achieved or guaranteed savings.
